The following is a list of local groups, clubs, business and organisations serving the Hemingfords’ community:

B&W Social Group
The group meet monthly on the last Thursday of the month at 7:30pm at the Reading Room in the High Street in Hemingford Grey. They offer members and visitors informative talks, discussions and social events.  You are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks.  Visitors fees £7 per event or members  fee £5 per event plus £12 annual membership which allows members to attend member only events – garden party, harvest supper, Christmas party etc. All are welcome 😊  For further information please contact Steve on hemingfordbw@gmail.com or call him on 07984 934579.

*Not currently meeting due to COVID* Small friendly market for food, artworks, cards, gifts & crafts made by local traders. Affordable, varied & welcoming! Held every month in Hemingford Grey Parish Centre.

Holt Island
Holt Island Nature Reserve is open on weekends and bank holidays from Easter until October. At other times keys are available from the Norris Museum and One Leisure. It is located behind All Saints Church on The Waits, a short walk from the bus station.

St Ives Library (next to Waitrose on Station Road) has accessible parking, baby facilites and wheelchair access. A Library Van visits the village and stops by the Axe and Compass pub in the village centre, opposite Village Hall, 11.05am – 11.20am. Tuesdays (monthly).
